What’s on an application to The Maryland Schools? Below, we’ve laid out all of the questions on the application so that you know what to expect when you go to fill it out online. Items with an asterisk are required. The application form saves your progress, so don’t worry about completing it in one sitting!

The Initial Inquiry Begin your journey by visiting our Uyo or Ikono campuses for a walk-in consultation, or start digitally via our Online Enquiry Portal. This is where we discuss your child’s goals and our unique “Architecture” for their success.

Confirmation of Application
Submission of “Blueprint” Documents To ensure a smooth transition, we require a set of mandatory documents. These files help us understand your child’s medical, academic, and personal history

Diagnostic & Placement Assessment
The Diagnostic Mapping (Assessment) Every student undergoes a diagnostic assessment. We don’t just look for “grades”; we map their current standing in STEM, literacy, and critical thinking to ensure they are placed in the tier that maximizes their potential.

Final Placement & Onboarding
Interviews are usually completed over the phone with a member of the Academic Team. The purpose of the interview is to get to know you better, hear about your future plans, understand why you are interested in the course, any particular papers you like and your understanding of the internship program.

Payment of Fees
Maryland Schools will issued an invoice for the balance of your first year tuition fees, due prior to the commencement date. On payment of this invoice you will be issued with a receipt of payment.

Logistics Registration
As part of the final onboarding, you will be invited to complete our logistics forms to ensure your child’s comfort and security from day one:
- Transport: Register for our professional bus service within Uyo and Ikot Ekpene.
- Boarding: For residential students, secure your spot in our conducive, 24/7 secured facility.
- STEM & Talent: Select the specific academies (Music, Robotics, or Sports) your child will be joining.
