MPIS was founded on a bold and transformative vision: to nurture a generation of learners who are not only academically sound but also innovative, disciplined and equipped to lead in a rapidly evolving global society. The journey began in 2012 with successful registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission. By 2013 the school commenced academic activities, welcoming its first set of learners into a carefully structured environment designed to foster curiosity, creativity and excellence. In 2014 MPIS obtained approval to operate a nursery section, completing the early childhood offering.

MPIS secured upgrade approval for the elementary section and a Grade 6 Examination Centre, positioning the school as a credible institution capable of preparing students for standardised assessment. In 2017 the second academic block was completed — 18 classrooms, 6 offices and an event hall — transforming MPIS into a full-spectrum institution with seamless progression from early years through secondary. In 2018 construction began on the Itak campus, expanding capacity and creating a serene environment for the secondary boarding system.

In 2021 MPIS obtained approval to operate its secondary school with boarding facilities, validating the school’s commitment to compliance, quality and academic excellence. By 2025 came the landmark: approval as an SSCE, NECO and IGCSE examination centre, placing MPIS among the institutions trusted to conduct national examinations.

MPIS stands as a dynamic, forward-thinking institution with campuses in Uyo and Ikono, providing a well-rounded education across Early Years, Kindergarten, Elementary and Secondary. The future is defined by growth, innovation and global relevance.
