Ethic & MoralDay
Our most distinctive programme, and the one visitors ask about most. No marks. No uniforms of rank. No lecture. Students sit in a circle and talk about the things that are actually hard.
Why we do it
You can teach a child the rule. Getting them to hold the rule when it costs them something — when the friend is cheating, when nobody would find out, when the crowd has turned on someone — is a different work entirely.
Mingling is where we do that work. It is where the school virtues stop being posters on a wall and become decisions.
The format
How a session runs
- Step 01
Check-in
One word each on how the week has gone.
- Step 02
The scenario
A real dilemma, age-appropriate, with no clean answer.
- Step 03
The circle
Open discussion. The mentor guides but does not resolve it for them.
- Step 04
The principle
The group names the value at stake and what it demands.
- Step 05
The commitment
Each student names one specific thing they will do before the next session.

Early Years

Senior students also serve as peer mentors to the junior circles — the strongest character training in the programme.
