JSS 2 · The Analytical Architects
By the end of JSS 2, students are no longer just learners — they are thinkers.
What your child will study
English Studies
Deeper interpretation — identifying main ideas, analysing arguments and expressing opinions. Writing develops into narrative, descriptive and argumentative essays.
General Mathematics
Linear equations, inequalities and Pythagoras’ theorem introduce multi-step reasoning; geometry expands into angles, triangles and shapes.
Sciences
Students understand not just what happens in nature but why — work, energy and power, heat and temperature, and the human circulatory system.
Digital Technologies
From basic skills into functional application — organising information and solving problems with presentations and data handling tools.
Nigerian Language
Deeper fluency through stories, proverbs and structured exercises.
Social & Citizenship Studies
More complex societal concepts — leadership, responsibility and governance.
History & CRS / Islamic Studies
Deeper understanding of Nigeria’s development and national identity, applying ethical principles to real-life situations.
Business Studies & Trade
How goods move from production to consumption. In trade, students move from exposure into guided skill development.

The day is segmented to maximise learning efficiency while preventing fatigue. Every period is purpose-driven.
