Admission FAQ

The questions prospective families ask most. Our admissions team is on 07044000075 if yours is not covered here.
How do I begin the admission process?

Visit our Uyo or Ikono campuses to collect an admission form (₦5,000) or start through the online registration portal. Once your form and documents are submitted we schedule a diagnostic assessment.

How does the dual curriculum work in practice?

While your child masters national requirements for SSCE, they simultaneously develop the critical thinking required for IGCSE.

At what age does my child start learning to code?

Computational thinking begins in the Sprout phase. By the Foundation phase students begin hands-on projects in our STEM labs.

What exactly is the University Admission Program?

A dedicated success track including in-house coaching for SAT, IGCSE and IELTS, plus career counselling and scholarship guidance.

Is the School of Talent mandatory?

We encourage every student to participate, but they choose their specialty.

Does the school provide musical instruments?

Yes, our Conservatory is equipped with professional-grade pianos, guitars and drums.

How do STEM and Talent programmes affect academic workload?

They complement rather than distract. Learning an instrument or coding a robot builds the discipline that improves performance in mathematics and sciences.

How is the School of Discipleship integrated?

The moral architecture is woven into everything — whether in a football match or a coding lab.

How can I track my child’s progress?

Through the MPIS Clever Portal — a real-time window into academic grades, talent milestones and bus routes.

How it works here

Known by name, taught by specialists.

Two things shape a day at MPIS more than anything else.
Guided study, inside the school day

Core work is reinforced under specialist supervision before the last bell, which is why children leave without a bag full of homework and still make progress.

Continuous assessment, not one big exam

Learning and evaluation happen together. Struggling learners get targeted support early; strong ones are stretched further.

A form tutor who knows the child

Pastoral care is structural, not optional. Every child has an adult whose job is to notice.
