In detail

Science Research Suites

Three professional laboratories where secondary students move from observing science to practising it.

Three separate laboratories, because a chemistry practical and a biology dissection should never share a bench.

1. The Physics & Engineering Lab

  • Advanced mechanics with electronic sensors and precision timing equipment.
  • STEM integration with the ICT Hub, using computer modelling to predict physical outcomes.

2. The Chemistry & Molecular Lab

  • Professional-grade fume hoods, digital balances and high-quality reagents for IGCSE and SSCE practicals.
  • Safety architecture including emergency eye-wash stations and specialised ventilation.

3. The Biology & Life Sciences Lab

  • High-resolution digital and compound microscopes.
  • Detailed dissections and botanical experiments, preparing pre-med students for university-level rigour.

What to look for on a tour

Practical detail

  • Fume hoods and eye-wash stations to standard.
  • Equipment matched to SSCE and IGCSE practical syllabi.
  • Digital microscopes for individual use.
  • Technician support for lesson preparation.

Visit this facility

Tours run on weekday mornings during term and take in every facility on the campus. Book one and we will walk you through this room while it is in use.

Parents ask themselves

Is this somewhere my child will feel safe? Are the facilities actually used?

Those are the right questions. Every page here is written to answer them plainly — and the admissions team will answer them in person on 07044000075.

How it works here

Known by name, taught by specialists.

Two things shape a day at MPIS more than anything else.
Guided study, inside the school day

Core work is reinforced under specialist supervision before the last bell, which is why children leave without a bag full of homework and still make progress.

Continuous assessment, not one big exam

Learning and evaluation happen together. Struggling learners get targeted support early; strong ones are stretched further.

A form tutor who knows the child

Pastoral care is structural, not optional. Every child has an adult whose job is to notice.

Life at MPIS

A school you can see working.

Laboratories in use, instruments in hand, pitches full. These are placeholders until the school photography arrives.
