A well-attended interactive forum, continued maths and memory challenges, and the dates that close the session.
Staff & Parents Interactive Forum
The meeting was successfully held at Maryland Prestigious International Secondary School with active participation from parents and staff. Important issues concerning students’ academic performance, discipline and overall school development were discussed, and parents were given updates on ongoing projects and upcoming school activities.
The meeting provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue between parents and teachers, strengthening our shared commitment to the growth and success of our students. We appreciate all parents and staff members who attended and contributed to its success.
One-Minute Math
This month we continued our One-Minute Math Challenge to boost students’ speed and accuracy. Students get a certain number of questions and one minute to answer as many as possible.
The challenge builds quick thinking, focus, number sense and confidence under pressure. Students love it, and teachers are already seeing more enthusiasm and faster problem-solving.
Memory Skills
Our Memory Skill Challenge continued this month, boosting students’ thinking and remembrance. Students flip cards and try to remember where matching pairs are located.
The challenge builds quick thinking and focus, strengthens neural pathways and improves attention. It trains working memory and encourages strategies such as chunking, visualisation and association.
