MPIS Soccer — De Lion & Lioness
Physical fitness, teamwork, strategic thinking and sportsmanship — our Soccer Academy delivers all of these and more. Students are not only improving their athletic abilities but also learning valuable life skills about dedication, cooperation and gracious competition. The energy and enthusiasm on our playing field is truly infectious.
These diverse programmes ensure that every child has the opportunity to shine in their own unique way, building confidence and discovering passions that may shape their future careers.
Staff & Parents Sports Day
Our Parents’ and Staff Sports Day was a key highlight, bringing the community together for an enjoyable morning of teamwork and friendly competition. Enthusiastic participation and student cheers created a vibrant, supportive atmosphere.
Parent highlight. Mrs Idaresit Ibanga praised the event’s organisation and the sense of unity it fostered, expressing excitement for future editions. The event strengthened relationships, encouraged healthy competition and created lasting memories. We look forward to making it a monthly tradition with even more engaging activities.
One-Minute Math
This month we continued our One-Minute Math Challenge to boost students’ speed and accuracy.
How it works. Students get a certain number of questions and one minute to answer as many as possible.
Why it matters. The challenge builds quick thinking, focus, number sense and confidence under pressure. Students love it, and teachers are already seeing more enthusiasm and faster problem-solving. A simple activity has quickly become a classroom favourite.

This month we strengthened instructional quality through targeted professional development for teachers and support staff.
Training focus areas: innovative teaching methods; effective classroom management; assessment and feedback strategies; technology integration; student-centred learning.
These sessions ensure our team stays aligned with best practices, leading to stronger instruction and improved student outcomes. We are proud of our staff’s dedication to continuous growth and their commitment to providing the highest standard of education.
Culinary & Catering
At MPIS we nurture students’ unique talents through focused development programmes. Culinary & Catering is new in our talent school. Students learn essential kitchen skills, food safety, meal preparation and basic catering techniques. They practise organisation, teamwork, creativity and presentation skills, gaining valuable life skills and early exposure to the hospitality industry.
